Art & Maker Day is an event that makes time for creativity and is intended to encourage and support builders and makers, especially those that may be otherwise overlooked, lack resources or support, or could benefit from the healing nature of creating art.
The event is open to any young and aspiring artists and we hope to specifically serve those who are facing prolonged illness, are facing bereavement or economic hardship, or who would benefit from their community supporting their creative efforts.
A casual, neighborly & supportive environment with 3 Tables for Guided Art Activities & some art & school supply giveaways for those who could use a little community support for the rest of the summer and upcoming school year.
Starting at Noon, the First 100 kids to come by our gift table will get free goody bags, filled with art & school supplies and snacks.
3 tables will be open with different activities and crafts, guided by an Art Mentor
Stop in and drop off any donations or art supplies for kids to use or take home with them!
